American and other NATO troops are in the process of leaving Afghanistan. How long will it be before the Talaban are in office in Kabul, by Christmas?

This has always been the case for the Taliban, or any indiginous force in any war - they simply have to wait for the invaders to go home, and eventually, they all do.

Probably sooner; those who surrender & lay down their arms are not being punished by the Taliban but are being allowed to go free, & from what I read, they are doing it in droves - better that, they think, than being slaughtered.
