I would go back to when I was 14 and I would tell myself to ignore the two boys beside me because I will trip fall and bang my head against the locker. I would also tell my 18 year old self (if I had time) about the pandemic (so I could start stocking up on toilet paper and other essentials)

Sorry I meant past self not last self
you are not looking that far back as it is only 6 years ago. Try 60 years ago.
I would go back to the morning of 19 November 1994 and tell myself
"3, 5, 14, 22, 30, 44".

The winning lottery numbers?
I wld tell my 15yo self that 1 mistake doesn’t define who you are. It took me a 30 years after the event to realise this and (unfortunately) altered many of my life choices
I would tell my seventeen-year-old self - your dad is never going to like you, he will make you miserable, walk out now.

Oh I’m so sorry. That’s gotta be tough on you.

Thank you - it was then, but obviously not now, nearly fifty years later!!

My children have benefited enormously from my experience - I was determined that I would confirm my love and respect for them on a daily basis by my attitude, and I have tried hard to do so.

I feel really bad now. Im so sorry. But I guess time heals everything. I hope your still doing great. Your a very great person and I hate to see that you got hurt awhile ago. Praying for you!
i would tell the 15 or so me, that don't be so needy, listen to mum and gran a bit more, and dump the idiots that would indeed muck up quite a bit of my early life.

Thank you for your kind words, but really, you must not distress yourself over something that happened so long ago, I am completely past it now, I would hate to think you would worry about it.

As I said, my girls (well, women now, all married with children) benefited from the simple approach that although we didn't always see eye to eye, what parent and child does, there has always been love and respect and simple liking between us, that's what I aimed for when I met their mum, that's what I've got now.

I am very blessed, and I am aware of it every day.

xx
Nothing. Live and learn... otherwise you might end up somewhere you weren't supposed to be.
Never let anyone tread all over you because they think they can.

That’s a good thing to live by when your young
To my younger self I'd recite the words and music for Merry Xmas Everybody and tell him to copywright it immediately.

Gotta be worth a million quid every year.
Don’t jump off the bridge. The consequences will be severe.
Don't sweat the small stuff.
Be braver. Rejection is scary, but the worst thing that can happen is exactly the same as if you never try.
I’d tell myself be tougher!! Having your face punched in and being told your eyeballs are going to be gouged out is no fun, but sitting there is even more stupid - having the guts to walk away is braver. Hindsight is a wonderful thing xx
