Has anyone used these or other online sellers to dispose of books?
Was it pain-free...how much do you need to have for them to collect?

I've bought a lot of stuff from Music Magpie, never sold anything, but they have been good & reliable.

I discovered that Ziffit sells as World of Books on Amazon and eBay. I've bought from them a number of times and have always had excellent service.
I've got a lot to get rid of, don't drive...so I need them collected.
I’ve used both for selling CDs - both paid promptly and were a pleasure to deal with.

I did look at selling some books, but found that neither of the two wanted a sufficient quantity of my ‘unwanted pile’ to make it worth the bother of scanning and sending.
I don't think either collect but they are happy to take them in smaller quantities so you could do them a bit at a time.

Both say they collect *larger* quantities. But don't specify what that is.
I doubt their drop off points will be close by, and I can't really carry them. I may end up getting The British Heart Foundation to pick up. There's a local hospice charity that may also.
On this page it says 15KG for free courier service.

Hmmm...guess I'll weigh my books. ;)
Thanks for that, Tilly.
It also says the work out the weight, somewhere, but that might just be CD's.
