Anyone actually made a new years resolution and stuck to it?
Or do we mainly delude ourselves with the best of intentions but lack of will at the start of the new year?

I'm making one, to continue teetotal.
What horrible God puts Paddy's day in the middle of Lent?
I don’t bother now, but used to resolve to do more exercise. I start off with good intentions but it all falls away quite soon.

I did manage to give up smoking at New Year. Never smoked again since.
Well done Cleverjo. That is great. I know how difficult that is.
All ABers should make a resolution to be really really nice to each other.

Any new year resolutions I make are given up for lent. :o)
I don't bother with them, because I know that I won't keep to them.
I make the same one every year.
" Don't make a resolution, you know you wont keep it"
