Selfies

I read somewhere (can't remember where) that a high percentage of the population take something like 400 selfies a year but I can honestly say I have never taken a selfie. What about you? Are you a selfie-taker?

I think the idea of daily selfies is rather narcissistic. I don't take selfies and I won't start. I don't think anyone cares or wants to see a picture of me daily. Why would they?

I was even given a selfie stick as a gift some years ago but its moldering away at the back of some cupboard.

No, I don’t now. There are a couple of me and my sister when we were kids which are obviously ‘selfies’ because our arms are stretched in front and we’re fake-laughing. They weren’t called selfies then.

I have done a few when someone has given me a jumper or something as a gift but not for no reason and not for public view.

Man women my age take "mirror selfies" whislt they are squatted on the floor with no pants / trousers on whilst pulling their T shirt to cover their groins. These are common place in todays day and age with captions such as "can't be bothered to get ready" and "Mondays..Eh?"

The purpose of these selfies is solely to attract a male to father their unfortunate children who's biological father abandoned them mainly due to issues with the mother such as vanity and texting their ex's.

I hate it when I'm using the camera on my phone and I hit the wrong button, I get a very puzzled old woman looking at me, it's horrible!
An honest question, but why do people feel the need to post photos of their meals in that instanet thing?
