Was looking at their site and some of it is 1.16% gel and the other is 2.32% - is the difference in the "pain strength". ie is 2.32% better.

You re correct, JJ...100gm cream of 1.16% contains 1.16gms of Volarol ( diclofenac).
2.32% contains 2.32 gms of Volarol and so on.
It is all in the strength as you have said.
I go for the strong one if I were you.
