Received this today by e-mail. Has anyone else received something similar? I'm a bit cynical, but the £50 is rather tempting.

We’re PwC Research, an independent market research agency and we’re currently conducting some research on behalf of British Gas. We are looking for customers to take part in an online forum to discuss their views on the British Gas rewards scheme and how this can be improved.

The Online forum will take place w/c 5th November and will involve 3 – 5 simple forum exercises to be completed across the week (with each task taking 5 – 10 minutes). As a thank you for taking part in the research and completing all of the forum tasks we will provide you with £50. There will also be an additional £50 bonus prize available for the best response!

I'd check this out by phoning British Gas first - just in case they "need" your bank details in order to pay you the £50! Can't be too careful.

I'm a British Gas customer, and I've never received any sort of e-mail like that (It could be that I've turned off all the lines of communication for things like this). I'd give them a ring like diddly suggested.
