The smell of the paraffin on the road kill , lends a certain, je ne sais quoi,

Wedding Breakfast is not a term that is used up, north of the border.

I think that there may be other differences in the format of the wedding, but I can't remember what they are.

Never understood why the title breakfast was being used, since few weddings occur prior to normal breakfast time. But to answer the question, aren't all courses always yummy ?
Ah no, Baz....they were happy...shame to give them a bad memory..x
According to Brewer's, it's called '...breakfast' because most weddings used to take place in the morning. There's no mention of
local/regional use there or in Chambers - it seems to have been a standard term.
aren't all courses always yummy ? Not if one of them is salmon mousse which it often is at big hotel/catering type dos I've been to.
