the parents have 'till Thursday to present any credible evidence... but it looks very doubtful... perhaps the fund will go into research ?

The money raised was to get them to the USA and pay for treatment.

Plenty of doctors have offered to help though.

1.3 millions sounds like loads but when you haven't got an income, the day to day cost of living, plus medical fees, I suspect it wouldn't last as long as we might think.

a few want to try experimental treatment..but there is NO evidence it will help and the US medics who first suggested it have revised their opinion....

has severe irreversible brain damage, cannot breathe without ventilator, cannot open eyes or move arms and legs.... time to let go ..what life is it attached to a machine 24/7 unable to move or see even comprehend ?

My mate fell out of the back of a moving van. He was in a coma for two years. The doctors said he was brain dead and wanted to turn off his life support. If his mother had taken their advice they would have killed him. He woke up and almost fine. Bit of a problem with his short term memory but other than that he was the same person.

Sometimes they get it wrong.
