I keep forgetting our anniversary.

This afternoon my daughter asked what year we got married. I couldn't remember. She then asked when it was. I said 20th June. That was yesterday doh.

Apparently we got married in 98 so 19 years.

I think in all those years I have only remembered about half a dozen times. OH sort of accepts it is hit and miss if I remember.

Marriage isn't about anniversaries. We have been married 40 years ( ok, we did celebrate that one ) but never made a big deal of it, it's the relationship during all the year that matters. The little daily things. I think anyway. If I depended on a big deal once a year I would be sorely disappointed !
