A similar thing happened to me in Aldi this week. A disabled lady was short of 32p for her shopping. As she was in a wheelchair I generously volunteered to take her 4 pack of beans back to the shelves.

They should have gone to Lidl

probably
Well done you Bernie!

Here's hoping they don't go back to their million pound house in their top of the range Mercedes that they can afford by scrimping on their food in A :-/
good for you. I've occasionally helped out with the odd threepence but not as much as a fiver.
Eccles, the food was for the hamster.
good for you, a good deed indeed.

very cynical eccles ..if they do they do but they wont be eating gourmet food with what they bought
Well done, Bernie.....nice gesture and whatever they go back to doesn't detract from your good deed.....x
Something similar with me last week. The lady was only £1.40 short, and this a local shop, I was at the cashpoint (in shop) and they were telling her she needed to put something back. I said I'd pay it and she came up and kissed me :-)

well done ummmm its not a lot but it is to them
Lovely gesture :-)

Nice one Bernie, well done Mate.

i have my moments lol
It wasn't meant to sound as cynical as it seemingly did. It's just a reflection of a situation I have observed.

It doesn't in anyway detract from your kind hearted act of generosity though.
Ummm, A kiss and a hug is always welcome to me... but at what price..?
Good on you Bernie a lovely gesture to assumed complete strangers.
You have your moments?.......We still talking about Asda., Bernie?............ ;-)
Lovely gesture,
I was at the cashpoint...she was being humiliated in front of people.
Ummm another good turn indeed bless ya'. I'm so expensive where do you live ;-)
Nicely done, Bernie :-)
