No it was not.

What right-on liberals fail to realize is thaat the world is not perfect particularly in other cultures. They (illegal immigrants) will lie and do pretty much anything to get their way.

Yes but the frightening part of all this is the fact that in this case he wasn't an illegal immigrant, he was let into this country by our own government officials.

In fact they drew the curtains on the buses bringing these so called children in and they also put up barriers outside the reception centre.

All in the attempt to hide them from prying eyes and cameras.
Ah, but didnt they take in illegal immigrants who really should have claimed Asylum (if they were eligible) in the first safe country they got to?
Can anyone find this story in a more reputable rag?
No sympathy from me.
another one of the "children" eh? How dopey are these people!

Yes we all know how you and others would wish to censor certain news outlets, but this was a perfectly valid report on what was under discussion on an ITV programme.

/// During an emotional interview on ITV's Loose Women, the mother, who was renamed Julie for anonymity reasons, has now called on the Government to carry out proper age checks on refugees coming to the UK. ///

You are perfectly right YMB, but when has that law ever been imposed against this flood of migrant we now see invading Europe?
I don't wish to censor any news outlets, I'd just rather use sources other than a paper which spins things out of all proportion and a daytime TV programme. If they're good enough for you then, fine.
You take your news from loose women? That's as bad as a leader of the free world taking it from Fox news!

So you think that this mother who had the heart to take in what she thought to be a 12 year old Afghan refugee, who went on daytime television to tell her story, was either lying or is spinning things out of all proportion?
I'm not even convinced there is a woman who has experienced such things.

Lies once again, who said I took my news from 'Loose Women' (the daytime TV show, I hasten to add)

If you had bothered to notice, I posted a Daily Mail link which reported on this poor woman's plight.
What an over reaction AOG, I apologise I thought it was a direct quote having watched the loose women interview. I should have realised that you had more integrity than to watch that program.
Such a shame that your paper of choice choose to take their news from loose women then.
You used Loose Women (the TV programme....for clarity) to support a Daily Mail story which I can't seem to find in a more reputable (I use the term loosely) paper.
It seems Loose Women get their stories from The Sun...

Those are in the same league as the DM, AOG. Keep trying.
I think what your critics are after, AOG, is the news reported by the deity, carved onto stone tablets by supernatural means and recovered from a mountainside by a prophet then delivered to disbelievers and malcontents.

That should just about do it.

For my part, I'll take the word of the woman who took him in.
Not at all Dougie. Just a paper that doesn't have a reputation for completely fabricated articles such as restaurants in Africa which serve cannibal steaks etc.
