So what secret deal have the government done with Nissan?
It doesn't matter. Other EU nations - particularly France - provide all sorts of subsidies to support their industries. At present the UK has to obtain special dispensation to do so under EU rules. Post Brexit we won't have to so what can be wrong with that?
not like the firesides to ignore the rules judge!
The Belgians were rolling out the red carpet for post Brexciting Britain earlier.
Looks like the right decision was definitely made :)
