Out of curiosity...what would you expect to pay to have door unlocked, new lock installed plus 2 new keys?

£100 including call out?
Can you claim on house insurance- although maybe the excess would be too big
£150 if you are calling htem out now
jesus pasta bad luck

call out fee - at least a hundred

my sadding ex tenants make a point of keeping their key
so I have to change the locks every time - well rotate them and it is around £200 a throw

everyone thnks it is ok to go into someone's house and pick up their post!
I know a locksmith so would expect t pay a little bit less than the norm. I think £150- £200 is more likely but this is one of those questions like " how old do you think she really is" or "how much do you think this dress cost" where you can tell from the way it's asked that the answer is going to be a surprise so you adjust your guess accordingly one way or the other

Hmmm...looks like I got off easy. Called local emergency locksmiths...came in 25 minutes. £100 total. Not bad for 20 minutes work. ;-)
Still wracking my brains trying to figure out how/where I lost keys....
Where did you last have them.....?

Do I win a prize for my £100 guess?
a hundred

Well...when I left for work at 8:30am,they were clipped to my waistband with one of these.

It would be a bit noisey landing on concrete I should think. I retraced my steps...even looked in freezers at work. Well...you never know...;-0
I used to keep my keys in my bra, but I remeasured myself and got a smaller cup. They don't fit in any more nor does my phone and money.

The only time I lost one of my two sets of near identical keys they just turned up. I'm unconvinced there wasn't a period when I found one set and always assumed that it was the last remaining set and yet it happened simply to be the first found. Suddenly one day I found my keys but had a feeling I'd left them elsewhere; and when I looked elsewhere, there was the other set ! No idea how long I thought I had just one but in fact was using both at different times.
