Soggy Saturday. Oh well, it means I won't have to water the garden.

Down to the canal today for about an hour, some shoplifting and money laundering then home. That'll do for me!

Tiggy didn't stay out too long. He enjoyed his supper of lamb trimmings.

on a cloud boaty.oh's youngest that just graduated..had an interview , his first ever, for a job as a forensic auditor with LLoyds and he starts in October !!! so so pleased, he has worked hard for his degree and is such a lovely lad..

That's great news minty. Well done the lad. But what is as forensic auditor?

he will be searching/monitoring suspicious activity on accounts for money laundering ...!

Ah! I thought it must be something along those lines, but wasn't at all sure.

I will have to move my millions to another bank ! LOL

if only....sigh..just have to buy another lotto ticket..2 folk in mum's village won 8 million and 5 million a fortnight ago..that makes 9 there that have won big money ..5 of them in mum's street !! apparently it is known as the luckiest in the UK !

going up there this morning to cut grass, shampoo the carpets..will buy a ticket in the lucky shop !

also ordered new fire insert to go into fireplace yesterday....looking at a hole just now...will need to do a covert measure up of room for carpet....

I've got a new fire coming, the gas one has never been used. It's been disconnected, when it will go an d the new electric one put in remains to be seen. I've got the central heating, so there's no rush.

our fireplace is just to look at ..fire is never on..I wanted to pull it out and get a picture fire thing that hangs on wall and can be a fire or fish tank or window ..whatever you feel like at any time...but oh kicked and screamed for it to stay....

Living in the past is he? I've seen those gadgets, I like them.

he just does not like change of any sort..I have to go out and arrange/ buy anything new as he will always resist...even the new much improved boiler was a battle of wills....

going to put kettle on..back in ten...
