well I think the science behind it is this

You make the surface such that the contact anglis high and so it doesnt wet the surface. Unlike detergents which lessen the contact angle and so makes surfaces wettable.

But, that shouldnt make the stream of wee come back at you in a sort of V-wee. I am so old I dribble anyway
