Couldn't sleep at all last night so just got up and sat in the garden having a cup of coffee. Got a visit from Mr and Mrs Fox and THREE cubs. They got the shock of their lives to see me so they just scarpered. I have that scary effect on people - and foxes. !
Boaty, is it your Solstice Walk tonight or is it tomorrow night? I wish you good weather for it. Should stay dry and warm.

Good morning janbee. I loved hearing about your fox family only wildlife I see out where we live are birds and small lizards . This is the best time of day here,only 29 degrees at the moment. Much too hot outside later for me.

Morning gran xx The Fox family were living in my composter(sp?) but since they've expanded the family and now have 3 cubs, they've had to move to a larger dwelling. They're now living in a neighbour's greenhouse/shed. They still come back for a visit though.

How lucky you are,our place is out in the desert about 35 kms from Abu Dhabi city centre. I'd better go and shower now and then feed the birds. It's the weekend here and we had a late night watching England on tv.

Morning jan xxx GY xxx bernie and minty xxx I had a lousy night too. got a couple of zeds in about half three for about 15 minutes. A short walk this morning as most of the furry folk had got fed up with waiting and already gone home.

Yes jan, the Solstice walk is tonight. I'm looking forward to it.

Morning boaty xx seems we've all been up last night ! Too muggy here...rain due must cut grass..again...only did it on Tuesday but needs cutting today...hope weather holds for your walk, has it been a year already ? Gold star from dentist yesterday..polish and return December 17th...

Well done minty. Your dazzling smile all in tact then. :o} The weather report for tonight is good, so it should all go off well. I'm on checkpoint 1 as I was last year, so I and whoever is with me, will be the first finished. We will then go back to the hospice and help with whatever requires doing. Last year I was helping with the balloons, inflating them and fixing them to their anchors, then placing them in a huge circle ready for when everyone is back, been fed and watered and sunset is near.

No sign of Albs yet ? :-( Had mail said she was feeling bit better and was coming home all being good with dongle...perhaps today ?

Yes although I didn't buy anything...couldn't see what I was wanting, mum got new shorts and shirts for dad and a few tops for herself...didn't have time to eat, before we knew it was 4.30 and mum had to get back to feed dad...has to be regular with meals because of diabetes ..

Morning all from Gs kitchen. Been at the hospital most of the night with G and some Rellies at Bobs bedside - when we left he was still with us but it can only be a matter of time. He was calling out his late wife's name - Sylvia - and saying hello to her and also to his mam and dad. So sad to see him like that

Yes indeed minty. Meals on time essential to keep the balance. I'm sure mum enjoyed the day. I'd put money on you did too! :o}
