Can anyone tell me the correct wording to use in a letter stating that my late husband did not leave a will and his Estate was less than £5000.00?

Thanks.

Chrissa, don't worry, if they need more info, they'll reply to your letter either as Dear Chrissa, we need more info, such as (whatever it is they're looking for) or Dear Chrissa Thank you for your reply. The matter is now closed Anyhoo, it's been quite a while, I do worry about you at times, have you been given peace to grieve? xx

Hi chrissa1 !
Who are you addressing the letter to ?

"He died intestate" would cover the no Will part.

It's just a general letter for a bank.
Dear Sir/Madam,
......brief details of required info
Yours faithfully

No long winded stuff as all they need is details

Ok, thanks redman. So they don't need to know the whys and wherefores then?
They will need proof i.e Death Certificate , and anything else they may have asked for.
Just stick to the basic details as required
