I would imagine behind closed doors and if certain they have total privacy, some protocol's are relaxed.

I think they have to walk backwards out of the room that she is in, everytime they say goodbye. Hope they don't trip up on of the blo*dy corgis !

I sincerely doubt it netti, can't see William being the sort of bloke who would feel the least bit comfortable having his in laws doing that. I imagine them all slouched on the sofa at Middleton towers, feet up on the coffee table, totally relaxed and at ease with each other.
Different in a formal setting probably.

I think protocol is relaxed within the immediate Royal family too once they have privacy. Inter actions with each other, with palace staff etc... will be toned down. I beleive that this generation of Royal's are bringing in a new "modern" family casting aside some of the dark aged traditions. The Queen herself during the Dianna funeral time fought with her conscience and allowed certain unorthodox protocol's to ensue (ok if you beleive the film!)

probably not and when the couple are in the local pub there I don't think anyone stands on ceremony. love the fact he stopped at the hospital all night, a security nightmare but makes u wonder if there were any concerns.

but you know do they have ANY frenz as Prince Harry found out when someone sold some of his hair for DNA and then again when someone sold photies of him as a Nazi and then again when someone else sold photies of him in the nuddy or butt nekkid as the yanks who took the photies say.
