Today I'm going to cook a dish I seen on Saturday Kitchen this morning. It's Fillet of lemon sole with kale and crab butter sauce. It looked lovely.

What are you having/had?

And do you often copy recipes you see on TV?

Mmmm, that sounds lush :-)

I started copying lots of Nigel Slaters recipes, when his show was on just before Christmas.

Tonight I am having last night's Chinese.
Just ordered a chicken tikka rogan josh. Pilau rice and two chapattis.
I saw that ummmm it did look lovely. I have a go at a few things I see on TV. Tonight it's shepherds pie - grand daughter is staying overnight so she gets to choose. She ALWAYS choses shepherds pie. Bless.
Probably cornish pasties, there are two lurking in the fridge
That does sound nice. I've got a cold so my mum made me some veggie soup and brought it round. She also brought a carrot cake mix and made it here.

I've done a few recipes from programmes. At Xmas I did an Xmas cake from The Home of Fabulous Baking. It turned out lovely.
I don't usually watch cooking shows and usually too faffy or expensive food for me.

I'm having spaghetti Bolognese with gluten free spaghetti and mince with tinned tomatoes left from a two meal batch I made last night.

I forgot I'd got pork out of the freezer for today so I'm cooking that at the moment for sandwich's.

Boxy - For dinner? What do you have with them?
Was planning on creating and cooking a lovely tuna dish, but am rather tired. So it's pizza tonight! Straight out of the freezer and into the oven, no need to dial phone numbers or await a knock at the door. Roast pork tomorrow (with all the trimmings), and the tuna dish on Monday. Might throw a little extra cheese on the pizza, but that's my effort exerted!

I have those days.
Just finished a rather hot chilli ! :-(
I love most TV recipes, but not Jamie Oliver, the irritating little worm. His meals are not appealing and he is annoying. I have Rick Stein in line for my future husband, (OH is aware of this). His recipes are divine, he is a dish, and he has a wonderfully soothing voice.
God only knows.

The nice warming stuff like curry or chilli is all frozen and I only have salad in the fridge, I'm hoping the bacon that is lurking doesn't have a fur coat and I might knock up a bacon sarnie.
We had pizza... Just had ice cream for afters :-)
Chuck in a fried egg Eccles, and you will have a gourmet sarnie!

I love Rick Stein :-) but I think it's because I love seafood.

I'm loving Raymond Blanc at the moment....très bien, Voila
My Waitrose shopping is coming tomorrow, looking at the snow outside I can't believe I've ordered so much salad stuff...........
Fish on the menu here as well. Dressed haddock, Jersey potatoes and asparagus.
I watched Saturday Kitchen as well, fancied that recipe.
I am such a fan of Nigel Slater as well, he makes me want to be there with him, his 'allotment' fry up this morning made me want to have an allotment. His recipes are simply delicious.
No eggs.....but I think I might have a portobello mushroom that can be sliced up and bunged in!
