No, but thank you for being so considerate as to ask.
Best not; this is one of the very few occasions wherein Christians and atheists may come together.
Can we cut and paste?
So that's where Goodlife gets his cut and paste from !
No jimmy Hendrix or BoB Dylan. I want my money back!
very much so, Eddie, and I am being serious..........
The lack of evidence for the existence of god is evidence of the irrelevance of 'the watchtower'.
Our posts crossed DT
Now if Goodlife took the text as root, thought about it and turned it around to his own conclusions and views, i.e. put his own opinion and leadership on here, he would command a lot more respect.......
I remember the Salvation Army salesman going into my local pub and asking the landlord if he would buy a copy of 'The War Cry' he said '' I will but only if it is spelled ' *** Cry'
Thank you, Philip Dalton. It looks very interesting.
Swear censor got me , the words were wh0re cry
To try to equate the Salvation Army with JWs is akin to liking chalk and cheese. People are willing to donate to the SA without even buying a copy of their newspaper, believing their contribution to go toward practical relief for the most vulnerable of society whom the state has let slip through their grasp. Although poles apart theologically, you will finds RCs cheerfully contributing to the SA, whilst protestants will contribute to nuns' charities in equal measure.
It would be much clearer if you could make reference to one particular article if you're looking for a sensible discussion.
Jehovahs Witnesses? I have a couple as neighbours and a couple living opposite me. They never talk to anyone who isn't a JW. If they appear on your doorstep, they want to talk until the cows come home. What's the difference?
I agree with Wildwood. If you'd like to discuss the articles it would be easier if you chose something specific to begin with - and then introduced other topics along the way.
I agree - //Would anyone care to have a discussion on the articles on this website?//

Well, that's like saying "Would anyone care to have a discussion on the Bible?"
I'd love to, but every time I open a new window someone pops out and tells me to Go Away
sandyRoe, off you go then. Start the ball rolling.
