You think we need Zpelling police ?
That's what happens if you leave your spellchecker set to US instead of UK, then believe its "corrections".
Do about it - well nothing.

From Wikipedia

British spelling uses both -ize and -ise.
British English using -ize is known as Oxford spelling and is used in publications of the Oxford University Press..It firmly deprecates using -ise for words of Greek origin
The Cambridge University Press, on the other hand, has long preferred -ise.

Perhaps as a reaction to the ascendancy of American spelling, the -ize spelling is often (wrongly) seen in the UK as an Americanism, and -ise is more commonly used in UK mass media and newspapers, including The Times, The Daily Telegraph and The Economist.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
The Z was correct when I was a child and the American was S - it seems to be swinging back the other way now.
Mick.....I`m an aging hippy. Humour me. I need to make banners and march and.........well I`m not telling you any more. :-)
and slaney is correct - Mark Rae was banging away on this one the other night, in his usual indefatigable way and Mark Rae is always right...isn't he?
