I dont think I would go forward as I wouldnt want to see anything terrible happening to my family, but would love to go back and meet some of my ancestors

I would go backwards, and dump my ex sooner than I did! lol
Question Author
lol, there is often that phrase- wiser after the event
I would go back to see how the Egyptians lived. Its always fascinated me!
Forward to see how it did all end.....
I'd go back...and I'd be a rebel. Being good didn't get me anywhere!!! :-)

lol, ummm, I know what you mean. Ive sometimes been too good for my own good, but Id rather that than be a baddie. Ive found out that some of my ancestors were baddies, but perhaps purely because times were hard then. Id like to go back and see how they coped as long as I could definitely get back here again safely.
Forward also so I'd out live anyone who might otherwise grieve at my passing
I'd quite like to go into the future, say two or three million years to see what we evolved into, assuming that we are still here that is!
Go back to have my life over again with the best dog that ever lived.
assuming I get younger, I'd get a degree
If I stayed the same age, then I'll go forwards
> assuming I get younger

???
Question Author
I dont think you get younger otherwise you could disappear up your own watsit. I think you would stay the same only in another time and then return back to where you were
there's no way I'd go forward, I wouldn't like to know where my life's leading, that'd ruin any excitement.
Going backwards I would, obviously follow the cliches and buy a winning lottery ticket and hide it (for me to find when I got back to the future), not the full whack I don't think though, 5 and the bonus would be perfect!
I'd go forward and tell them what really happened rather that the lies in the history books.
Question Author
Lies, McM in history books? History is changing all the time anyway as new things are revealed surely
Don't forget the temporal prime directive!
TOH, I'm thinking of recent diaries/memories from people like T. Blair who have bent the truth out of shape regarding the Iraq invasion.
Question Author
I understand McM. Perhaps if I go back far enough, I can stop him being born :>)
