Tell me about it. I`ll be getting the full force of that over the Atlantic tomorrow, no doubt.
I presume Scotland - the true sign of divine retribution against the Salmonds of this world and the SNP's intentions.
That reminds me, I'll need to check our schools - my daughter has an exam in the afternoon too!!!

Don't think Glasgow have declared yet Karen.

DT - then it should be limited to those that voted for him and leave the rest of us poor sods alone!

237 - whereabouts are you?
It's very wet and windy here, and forecast to continue tomorrow.
I've just checked the website Annie - they're open as normal but will be reviewing at 9.30am.
lol annie, you are right! Just take care as I see they are forecasting some power outs......batteries in the radio for example!
I'm as far south as you can get before getting your feet wet in the English Channel....... so any of you lovely ladies fancy hiding out here, I'm sure I can oblige.:0)

i've just asked to work at home in the afternoon so I can be here for the kids, but I guess I may not have any telephone/broadband :o(
Only 32mph maximum tomorrow in your area tomorrow, apparently, Annie:

I hesitate to mention it .... but .....it is winter.
Exactly Annie, not all of us voted that numpty in - would we miss them if they got blown away?
You learn something every day. Yogi, our modern day King Canute.

We are in for winds as well and the wet stuff down here in Cornwall. Given there is some building restoration going on in the garden, all this rain has led to the lawn and surroundings lookingf like a pig or hippo play-park. Walk to the gate and back and your shoes are covered in mud......aaaaagh.
so windy here today!........walked with Callie down to the seafront!....ir was so windy!.....could hardly stand!.......Callie was a bit bewildered!......I just wanted to go home!........worse to come tomorrow according to the forecast!......
Anyone in the area's going to be hit by the strong winds, torrential downpours and predicted snow flurries....please be careful if you go out at all and dont risk anything till it blows over..... or I'll fly up there and bite your tushes........:0) xx
It's gonna be mayhem!! http://news.stv.tv/sc...se-during-high-winds/

I wish I didn't have to go out :|
Those BBC forecasts are not always totally accurate, Chris.........I've looked at that site when windy weather due here on the south coast and it may say just 27mph......but believe me.....we've had 45mph+'s and get gusts of up to 60mph on quite a few occasions....sometimes more.

They are forecasting that the worst of the storm will be between 3pm and 6pm. We will batten down the hatches and stay put.
