I am very disappointed that a message I posted earlier was considered to have come from a previous ABer; I do not feel the sarcasm was necessary.
It is remarkable how the syntax and general subject matter of past users seems to be sought out by regular posters and used against the occasional users. As far as I can see this alienates the occasional poster who is accused of being a 'troll'.
Just how is this site meant to acquire and retain new members with this kind of hostility?

Now that the site nutter has been banished (he accused everyone of being everybody else) very few are accused erroneously....

I wrote out a long (ish) reply on your last post, so I too was miffed it vamoosed, lol.
Lomg answer made a helluva lot shorter, I've never thought you were anyone other than who you are now (eh? LOL), i'm sure alot of other people don't either. Report those who say otherwise, let Ed & Co deal with them :-)

That seems a little harsh, EvianBaby.
Sometimes posters give themselves away by either style, or content. Many folks on here are wary of folks masquerading under additional, or 'new' names........and often like to let the 'new' user know that they have been rumbled to prevent any potential nastiness.

Sara, do you mean me? If so, no. Not posted much else today.
You might see it as a bit harsh Jack but I've seen many a time new members join, ask what might be considered an unusual first question and get completely lambasted when it appears they were genuine after all. It must come over as a very hostile place to newbies sometimes. Also, in terms of one particular user who keeps appearing to return with fairy tales, if they are not offensive (and the ones I have seen are not, just odd) then does it really matter? They clearly keep people entertained.

But it's not up to other 'normal' users on here to judge that. I have no idea why that person was banned but it's obvious there is nothing anyone can do about stopping a banned user coming back with a different name so why not just let them get on with it and when it becomes a problem because they start causing trouble then the Ed can deal with it.
