Something occured to me as I looked at the taxi drivers in this country. If you go to Pakistan, are all the taxi drivers British.

Good question I think the same all the time and are british people aloud to have english on schools and churchs where they wouldnt dare entre ?

I think the reason is Amy, is that most of them haven't got a trade or can read or write English, so driving is the easier option.

More important a question is, are they all legal immigrants?

I think they also like it becauise taxi driving is "cash in hand" so no need to pay tax.

I live near an area with many Asians and they love "cash in hand" work for that very reason, hard to trace and dont need to pay tax.

This is why many Asians run corners shops as most of the money comes over the counter in cash so does not need to go through the books.

I went to a local cash and carry recently to buy stuff for our local fete, and ALL the people in there were Asian (apart from me) and all the ones I saw were paying cash.

I do wonder how much money this country is losing in tax as we have been so stupid to let so many Asians in the country.

I live in Plymouth,90% of taxi drivers are Polish with huge sat-navs on their dashboards,hardly any of them speak English, except when they tell you the fare price.
