I am afraid the bigots on this site did not wish my Happy New Year greeting to remain in the suggestions category. Is there any reason we cannot make these greeting threads?

are you saying the ed is a bigot? i suppose if its their site they are enttilled to say what goes
i would have thought that the suggestions section is for suggestions of the site not for greetings therefore i would say that was why it was moved/deleted. In fact there was a post from ed this week asking for people to put only suggestions in that category or risk being banned, so maybe you got off lightly

bednobs I posted the greeting in good spirits, along with a suggestion, the ed went home friday teatime, bigots removed it as it is still in my profile unedited, it is not the ed, she had no part in it.

was it a suggestion about the site? Perhaps repost your suggestion but without the happy new year bit and you will have more luck

It was a suggestion about the site bednobs and it was suggesting that people using AB should maybe be a little more tolerant, guess the bigots didn't agree with that either.

i suppose thats not a suggestion abut the site really (ie new topics, new code) as the ed has no control over the tolerance of individuals

Yes, Linda is correct. It started on Friday at sundown, and ended Sunday night.
