And who on this thread has actually shown any sympathy towards Hatch? Absolutely nobody.
Lynn and John Williams, Hatch's victim;s parents, have not made any comment yet I don't think, I wonder if they are still together? I wonder if they have been able to live some kind of life since their little boy was found tied up in bin bags and dumped in a liftshaft? I wonder if they have other children who are now adults with kids of their own and are reading the news today and feeling numb over it all?
Quite right too, no need for any sympathy for an evil monster.
My total sympathy goes out to little Sean's family, having to have this all over the news again and seeing their little boys picture in the papers again. That is so sad,
Just found this:

Last night the dead boy’s mother said her ex-husband, John Williams, was ‘ecstatic’ over the killing and told her: ‘Justice had finally been done.’

Lynn Williams, 53, said she felt ‘numb’ over the death.
That is exactly how I anticipated she would feel, wasting emotions on Hatch is pointless now, poor woman must be drained,
Gid it's reduced me to tears reading that she went to her son's grave to tell him his murderer had been killed.

Again, who is showing any sympathy for Hatch or wasting their emotions on him. In fact, why was there a need for a thread like this. I feel extremely sorry for the parents of the poor little boy and I think that Hatch was evil. But I get no pleasure from the fact that someone has murdered him. I genuinely believe that there are some on this thread who would enjoy watching public hangings so they could all cheer!
maybe not public hangings.
If they'd done what they should have done and and topped him then we wouldn't have had to feed since 1994 and a man would not have felt he had to rid the earth of this piece of Sugar
Oh yes Dotty, very public, prefereably where there is a large audience capacity!! It seems that there are a lot of people that are in favour of the death penalty and who quite enjoy threads like this.
And no I am not a 'Lefty' or a yoghurt knitting liberal.
No public hangings would never be allowed,
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, sorry im getting all Biblical :-)
Perhaps the Editorial Team could devise some sort of ratings system where we can register our moral outrage and then arrange it in some sort of league table...........?

The more epithets we use when describing a criminal and the more emotive terms we use when describing their victims; the greater graphic content used describing either a) their acts, or b) what we, personally, would like to do with them (and with which type of rusty implement), the higher the position in the table.........and, of course, the "How would you feel if it was your - - - -" would act as an accumulator bonus and propel the user to the top of the league. However, perhaps as a check, using the words 'hand-wringing', 'liberal', 'lefty' 'yoghurt (in any context other than natural or fruit)' and 'peace-muesli' could see the user deducted points or banished to the relegation places ?
no perhaps we should just say what we feel and focus on that
Oh, dotty............that's just wimping out.

You have to thump tubs a little....be more morally outraged than the last/next person. That's the way it works....if we all stopped to *actually* consider the facts and fall-out of these desperately sad cases, where would it all end..........?

There'd be practially no lynchings, at all !!
I can't focus on that aspect as I don't get morally outraged I only get emotionally confused but i shall tray harder next time
the ab lynch mob are baying for blood again.
bit late piggy he's a goner
