Great song by Imelda May, from a great album.
But - "I love your nails, even your entrails....."
Would you really love someone's innards?!

And, has anyone else noticed, who has the album, that the album version is much slower than the one released as a single? I find it very strange - I put the album on in the car & sing far too fast. I prefer the faster version.

As in hung, drawn and quartered fluff?
Bit of a stretch lyrically - I have interviewed Imelda May, and I can say I would love anything she wishes to offer me - she is gorgeous!!!
yep why not

She's great andy - lucky you!
I love her voice, her songs, her style.... Did you see her on graham norton the other week?

Her album is great, and unusual in that I think I like every single track on it. I can't say that about most albums.
i avoid GN like the plague - so no.

I do love Imelda though - she has wonderful style, the way her skirts cling - and she has translucent skin, and a soft irish brogue - no wonder that handsome guy on fabulous lead guitar looks so happy - they are married!!!

"the way her skirts cling...."

What with that, and your infatuation with Carla (Alison King), I see more & more of your naughty side andy!!
Believe me, if I didn't keep it under tight control, my naughty side would take over completely!

I spent ten minutes googling images of Alexandra Bastedo from The Champions this morning - I had to have a cup of a tea and a rub down with a damp cppy of BT Today!

Jeez - you sound just like my BF. I dread to think who he googles and drools over...
Question Author
actually, that's untrue - I'd love to know who he googles and drools over ;l-)
I was in love with Alexandra Bastedo, too.............
Isn't that what Prince Charles sang to Camilla when that tape was released of him saying he wished he was her tampon ?
I don't want to come over all previous here, but i tend to view famous women almost as moving works of art. I study them, rather than just lust after them, and I find I zero in on certain aspects at different times.

With Alexandra Bastedo, I have always been fascinated by her cheekbones, with Kylie it's the way she moves, with Alison King, it's the seductive look in her eyes.with Tina Hobley (Casualty) it's her teeth, and so the list goes on, so i hopem I sound a bit less like a dribbling old perv, and more like the aesthete I aspire to be ...

Oh yuck Den :-(

(But lol'ing anyway....)
That said, if any of them want to pop over and hammer me into a coma, then that's perfewctly OK as well .....!!!
I know jack - she was just perfect ...

I look at Angelia Jolie a little in that way andy....a work of art, sculpturally speaking.
Yep - some people you can just look at endlessly, and simply appreciate the 'art' of their appearence.

My eldest daughter and her daughter are like that - they both look effortlessly cool, as though they are modelling all the time, and I notice the glances they get when we are out and about, from men and women.

Some people just have that charisma, you want to look at them a lot.

Johnny Depp's another one on my list.
Question Author
Steve McQueen had it... as did Sean Connery. Clive Owen & Johnny Depp definitely have it. And Colin Firth and Alex James from ex-Blur.... Oh, I could go on!
