Kinda general, but it applies here: is it true that if you don't have cameras, you can't sit and draw either, and that the 'artists' all have to create impressions from memory, after the courtroom event?

I don't know about america and therefore the jackson case, but in the UK it is illegal for court artists to draw in the courtroom.

This rule actually applies to the whole court and strictly speaking even the car park.

it's always funny to see the artists dash off from the courtroom and run outside where they can draw their pictures.
