When will people learn that 99% of Muslims are peace loving and are not terrorists or even potential terrorists, it's this kind of ignorance an blind acceptance of warped 'facts' what the tabloids feed off.

The Armenian genocide was not an attack on religion, it was nationalism. If you like I'll write you a full answer on the events circumstances and reasons for the forced Armenian diaspora (the Turks called it 'evacuation', which sets an equally bad precedent), to refer to it as an attack on Christianity is in reality just the repetition of contemporary reports which equals propaganda.
There were several massacres of the Armenians prior to 1915 and they were all couched in equally religious contexts at the time, none of them paid a blind bit of notice to the events of the Otterman dissolution.
Before I'm misunderstood, I'm not defending Turkish actions in these events, but you need to understand why it happened in order to explain what happened.

Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered that day, in Manhattan , across the Potomac from the US capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ?
Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?
And I'm supposed to care that a few Taliban were claiming to be tortured by a justice system of the nation they come from and are fighting against in a brutal insurgency.
I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11 in USA and for the bombs in London on 7/7.
I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of which is a crime punishable by beheading in Afghanistan

The government and the gutter press (eg. your beloved Daily Wail) have a vested interest in keeping the populus in a steady sate of fear and nervousness, the so called terrorist threat is grossly exaggerated on a regular basis.
I think you should cross-reference and question these "facts" rather than just swallowing the whole thing hook line and sinker.
