hiya, just wondering if anyone knows the name of the plant that repels cats, they keep dropping one out on my mothers lawn. She has the grandkids playing in there so its needs to be child friendly. Thanks

Here's that plant, and an electronic alternative.....
Dogs .. water jets, and loud noises tend to work ok.
Are you absolutely sure its cats? because cats normally do their business in earth, they like to scratch it up, deposit, and then bury it. Not usual to drop it on lawn.
Have you thought of foxes? Its foxes that do that dirty deed round here.

My neighbour has ten cats - they don' always cover it up. I've had it on the lawn, door step - anywhere. I've had three ultrasonic deterrents, they work for so long about 1 year to 18 months ( a bit expensive), lion poo and urine pellets , don';t work and the plants you talk about, don't work!! What you need is a 12 bore!!!!
MMMM! If I had 10 cats next door to me I think I'd try to put down some arsenic.
But seriously I think Id have the garden hose (on Jet) perminately, they hate water.

I'm surprised about this- cats rarely sh!t straight onto grass, they normally find an earthy patch, dig a hole, dump into it then bury it. It's more likely to be fox shyte IMO
Apparently, cats are repelled by orange peel.
...oops, sorry, I didn't see Jemisa's response.
Never mind foxes. Hedgehog crap can also be "cat like". And they can get in over fences or under the smallest gaps.
Yes, but hedgehog crap is black and tar like cat poo isn't . I',m an expert on it now,the neighbour used to have 16 cats we are now down to 10 - I can spot it anywhere! Ha Ha!
Next door's rabbit came hurtling over our 4 ft brick wall yesterday - Kamikazi bunny on an escape mission!
