With the number of stabbings carried out in London, the Parole Board sees fit to release a convicted knife killer back onto the streets of London.

Why London? So he can be close to his relatives, Ah.

He won't be sent back to his native Italy, because he has spent most of his life here in Britain.

That's a new one, they generally won't be sent back from whence they came, because they may face torture or other horrible things.

The family of the victim, Philip Lawrence, would be justified in feeling doubly miffed. The lad Mr Lawrence died to protect went on to serve 5 years for a gun crime.

Yep. My Dad's mate son was murdered in Thailand. My mate was stabbed on a night out and died a few days later.

I was angry then. I think I'm more mature now. Only in exceptional cases should a person be imprisoned without any hope of eventual release.
