Who's the most famous person near you?

We're practising for a 25 mile sponsored bike ride and been out a few times. About 7 miles from where we live the route goes past Roman Abromavichs' house in West Sussex. I didnt know he lived there until someone pointed it out.

Quite a few I'm guessing with living in Manchester though I see more people than know where they actually live.

Mainly Corrie people and footballers.

I've been to UB40's manager's house if that counts, not near me but met him once and ended up going to his for champagne then out for dinner, he's a lovely guy.

When I lived in the Brighton area, the author Elvi Rhodes lived next door. My sister lives near one of Johnny Depp's houses, in Somerset.

Well, I am acquainted with Ellie Goulding who is the Goddaughter of my friend Phil whom I used to look after on a regular basis. I met Ellie at his house, I guess, about 4 or 5 times. We both stayed over together one night and she was upstairs working on some of her stuff.

I'm from the same town as Sharleen Spiteri - she was the year above my sister at school. She doesn't live here any more though. Marti Pellow lives a few miles away, as do some footballers - dunno which ones, it changes regularly.

I met big Ron and his Mrs a few years back, Cazzz. We were eating at Rossinis in Droitwich when Vince owned the place and Ron and La Ron were on the next table. He and Vince then began waltzing round the restaurant when all the other customers had left. lol

he plays almost everyday at the lickey hills golf course normally with footballers. loud and jangly!

mind you the other week at the driving range pj eliis from big brother 3 was in there, for a nobody he had this great big entourage, beggars belief it does!

I'm only a few miles from an area of Stockton called Wynyard and it's home to Duncan Bannatyne (Bizarre fact: I worked in one of his Nursing Homes in 1989/1990). It's home to quite a few Footballers as well.

We saw him again a bit later, Cazzz, at Vince's other restaurant. It was someone's birthday (not sure who) and when Ron got the bill he shouted, "Jesus Christ, Vince... is this Pounds or Lira?"
