Have you noticed or do you when picking a newspaper from the stall do you pick the first one or do you pick the one behind it.? I watched the majority at Asda pick up the one from underneath even though there was nothing the matter with the one on the top.

lol....I always pick the one underneath. I don't know why ;-/
If the top one is creased (which it always seems to be.....!) then yes, I take an underneath one. Then proceed to pay, and fold it in half....!
Oh grrrr ,this drives me bonkers at work! Especially on Sundays.

We drag ourselves into work at 6.30am, and have to put each and every supplement into all the papers before putting them on the shelves. Then the ar$es (customers) rifle through the papers to get one from the middle (why exactly?) and knock out all the mags from the top papers, which we have to put back in again time and time again.

Customers- I hate them all!
Hi wendi.

I ALWAYS dig down for the papers, if only to annoy the people who stand there and read the headlines without buying the paper itself (My local Morrison's is like a magnet to these wasters). They usually aren't creased. I do it with the Sunday papers as well, especially if there's a free gift (CD or DVD) as the top ones always seem to get pilfered.
Barstewards... each and every one of us Boo !!!

Woops Boo sorry I asked that you must be pleased lol
See? not one of you gives a thought to us poor shop workers who have to put these mags back in again.

Oh no, you buy the middle one then bog off home to enjoy it, leaving us poor sods wearing a groove from our tills to the newspaper section putting stuff back in the papers again. Grrrrr again!
I cant stand newspapers that are creased in any way. If the top one is in perfect condition then I'll have that, if not I'll have a rummage to find one that is.
I hate you all.
oh B00 the sunday papers was the worst job when i worked at a shop. took forever to sort and there was still one person who found a paper with one supplement missing lol
ACtually what I often do Boo, particularly on a weekend, is get the paper I decide on, then nick a couple of the magazine supplements from another paper, say the Times or something. The weekend papers are so thick anyway these days, most newsagents don't notice.
I luv finding the customers who 'accidently' have D. Mail supplements in their Express/Star/FT/Guardian/Telegraph etc.

They never want to pay extra when found out & dont buy paper - me thinks, they try again in another shop :)
^^^ she loves me really :0) x
Any good Top Shelf Mags in your shop BOO ?
Yep .. dig deep for me as well, never take the top one!! ;O)
red and tambo................. whoops!!!!!!! That person is probably me.
Thats awful Salla! What about the poor bu88er who buys the paper with a missing supplement that you've pilfered?

I'm seriously quite appalled you'd do something like that.
Never take the top one because it's second-hand after all the peopel having a free look. Also at weekends some of the supplements have been nicked.
EVeryone should check Boo, if they've any sense, cos you just can't trust people these days ;-)
redman ...

With free internet porn, I don't think anyone sells "top shelf" mags any more.
