newspapers on stalls
44 Answers
Have you noticed or do you when picking a newspaper from the stall do you pick the first one or do you pick the one behind it.? I watched the majority at Asda pick up the one from underneath even though there was nothing the matter with the one on the top.

We drag ourselves into work at 6.30am, and have to put each and every supplement into all the papers before putting them on the shelves. Then the ar$es (customers) rifle through the papers to get one from the middle (why exactly?) and knock out all the mags from the top papers, which we have to put back in again time and time again.
Customers- I hate them all!

Hi wendi.
I ALWAYS dig down for the papers, if only to annoy the people who stand there and read the headlines without buying the paper itself (My local Morrison's is like a magnet to these wasters). They usually aren't creased. I do it with the Sunday papers as well, especially if there's a free gift (CD or DVD) as the top ones always seem to get pilfered.
