Pathetic.
I'm not sitting next to you because...
a) I don't like you
b) you smell
c) you have fleas
d) my other friends don't like you
Like it or not (and for the record, I don't), Nick Griffin is an elected MEP.
This type of school yard peevishness does not do anyone any good. It shows an immaturity both socially and politically.
Actually, I take that back it does do someone some good Nick Griffin. Because (like the recent egging incident) he looks like the victim.
When will politicians learn that you cannot and should never ignore or try to censor your opponents? It never works. It always, always backfires on you. Take Thatcher's 'deprive them of the oxygen of publicity' stunt on Sinn Fin. Yeah, that worked didn't it?
And fast forwarding to this decade (ignoring a myriad of other examples). Our own Government banning Geert Wilders from entering the country. Stunning foot shot there. A person no one in the UK had ever heard of is suddenly on the front cover of every tabloid and is all over the internet like a rash.
Politicians need to grow up and start talking.
Especially to people they disagree with.
