Sinn Fein will not take their seats because of the oath of loyalty to the throne.

I'm just asking that MPs take an oath to represent those who elected them too.

The BNP shouldn't have a problem with that *if* as they say their issue is only about immigration and not about the racial origins of British citizens.

They'll only have a problem with that if they are a bunch of lying racist scum.

Wouldn't you agree SODDIT?

^^God point well made^^.
Did you bang your toe?
Jake a change is a change SIMPLE

Do you think that Sinn Fein would look after an Orange man

Dream on Leftie
I think the idea of putting the BNP on telly and challenging their proposals would work wonderfully.

It's down to economics...anyone with even the simplest grasp of maths can see that they're ideas are unworkable in a practical sense.

But I doubt that would discourage people from voting for them. BNP votes are from the heart, not the head.

Of course I wonder how the reactions would be if a radical Islamist party had put candidates in the Euros, and even won a seat?

I agree, but would the likes of AOG suport the people's right to choose?

I don't know why you picked me out specifically? But certainly I would be rather concerned if a radical Islamic party won a seat.

And I would hope, that very many others would also, to think that a party that is alien to our very culture had managed to obtain a seat in our European Parliament.

I also find it very strange that no one is at all concerned that in our own British Isles, there is another nationalist party.

I refer of course to the Scottish Nationalist Party.

if a green party member was elected in my constituency, would they represent my right to drive a fuel guzzling four by four whenever i liked ?

Please let me ask you a hypothetical question? and I do hope you will give me a truthful and honest answer.

If a party was formed that represented the views of Black people, promised to defend their rights, and protect their culture, above that of the Whites, would you support and consequently vote for them?
The only legal or lawful way is by removing apathetic arrisses from comfy armchairs the next time there's an election and putting the correct crosses on ballot papers.

The other methods are illegal and unlawful.
Funny thing is they will have to refer to Griffin as Nick Griffin MEP from now on.

This is the best bit! (This is want someone quoted in The Sun about the win)

I thought that Nick came across very well when interviewed by Dimbleby last night, when asked why they do not allow blacks in the BNP, Nick replied " Why don't you ask the Black Police Officers Association why they don't allow white members?
Hes got a point!
But unfortunately for him, they do allow white members.
AOG

I've told you this before...

No I certainly wouldn't.

I simply don't see the point because apart from racial identity, there is no common denominator which would bind the party together.

Also, it would be divisive, which is one of the reasons I am against the BNP.

Also, the BNP should change it's name it should be called the WNP, because it's not fighting for the rights of all Britons...just the white ones.
Of course it's fighting for the rights of Britons. Who do you believe are excluded?

Specifically non-whites (blacks, Asians etc). Even those who are born in the UK...from parents who are born in the UK are referred to by Nick Griffin and the BNP heirarchy as 'resident aliens'.

And as you may already be aware - blacks and Asians are banned from joining the BNP.
But because they were born here doesn't make them British.

A dog can be born in a stable but it doesn't make it a horse.

Ah - but they are British.

Remember - British is a nationality. It's what it says on your passport. You don't have degrees of Britishness. It's a binary concept. Either you are or you aren't.

Perhaps what you're thinking of is the concept of 'Englishness', a subject explored by Kate Fox in her (excellent) book 'Watching The English'.

The book deals with what makes the English who they are (queueing, social embarrassment, hard work, non-earnestness etc). These are English traits, many of which apply to new Britons (and their children).

However, 'Britishness' is something completely different. The BNP will have a real problem separating those two concepts, because once they say they're fighting for the British, the next natural question would be 'What? All British subjects?"

Then they come unstuck.
Philosophically, black people look different from Asian people look different from Chinese people, and all have different cultures. Anybody wondered why? It also gives a large clue as to what may occasionally happen if you chuck them all into the melting pot and tell them they are all the same.
Yes, either you aren't or you are British and I don't see how Mr Mumtaz Patel and suchlike can possibly be classed as British even if they were born here.
If they were born here what would you class them as

Not Sure
Don't Know
Can't be bothered
Other
