The parents or guardians of the mother can include the new baby in their claims for income support, Job Seekers Allowance or Child Tax Credit, but the mother cannot claim any of these benefits in her own right. Child benefit will be paid in respect of the child but will be counted as family income and may reduce the amount of mean tested benefits the family is entitled to. I think the family will also be able to claim a maternity grant if they are already receiving benefits.

if your studying at college then you may be entitled to EMA.    www.dfes.gov.uk.

Yeah, a maternity grant would be paid to a family, up to 500 if the family satisfy certain conditions, if the family of the teenager were all working, then no young person would be entitled to any benefit until they were 18, apart from child benefit, which would be paid at 16.
