Swine flu
Another lie from Gordon Brown. He told us that the government had banned swine flu from Britain just in case it offended Muslims.

Yakov Litzman is clearly a balloon. Pigs are not offensive to Muslims or Jews. Only the consumption of their flesh is deemed to be �offensive� (and even that is open to interpretation). As far as I�m aware, most Muslims and Jews do not recoil in horror at the sight of a pig; nor do they call for all pigs to be destroyed.
It�s amazing that in the event of a potentially deadly flu virus sweeping the globe, some people seem to be far keener on scoring political points by grandstanding to the world�s media, pontificating on this particular virus�s name, than they are about protecting people�s health.

Actually it is slightly serious.
I hear the pork industry is worried about potential sales and that poor girl going back to school after catching it will be teased unmercifully - I dare say she'll get oinks for years!
