Instead of labelling the Muslim protesters as extremists, shouldn't we try to address their genuine concerns? They're obviously not happy with life in the UK and must find a lot of the customs and practices a bit alien to them. Islam is a peaceful and gentle religion and should be welcomed as another addition to the cultural mix. I'm not surprised that they are upset at a Christian army killing their brothers. Live and let live.

howpeaceful dont make me laugh calling our boys and girls in iraq baby killers do you not realise the amount of humanitarian work the armed forces do??????? it was a disgrace to humiliate their families with a protest like that disgusting
If they're not happy with life in the UK maybe they should leave. If they're not happy with what our troops do, let them come back and leave the protesters to sort it out. They ARE extremists and turning a blind eye to what they did this week isn't the solution
There are plenty of places in the world practising their repugnant evil sh1te so they can fcuk off to one of those with their twisted religion. Why go somewhere you hate and then moan and try and change it. Kin well stay put in the first place where the rules suit them.
And instead of them labelling our soldiers murderers, shouldn't they try to see that we are trying to help?

They may be upset at the "Christian army" killing their brothers but there are also many British families who are distraught at having lost their loved ones to suicide bombers etc in Iraq.
It's red nose day not 1st April
Lets have a 'love a Muslim'' day

You're 'avin' a larf innit ?
You are right SK. I also think we were too hard on Hitler.
I will not dignify this with a sensible response because this thread is nothing but a cynical ploy by its author to try to provoke outrageous and homophobic comments against Muslims.
Bit inflammatory Paraffin
so shy choose to live in a christian country under christian law with christian royalty & Gov.

Peaceful & loving Islam dont have 'social security' written into the koran. Does any Islamic country have social security?
If it wasn't one thing it would be something else. Cartoons, teddy bears, dogs, the word crusade etc etc. They are out to destroy our way of life, simple as that.
hope they start in england then

that would help
Oh dear! The weirdos are out again! This has to rank as one of the most naive questions ever posted.

At the risk of rising to your obvious bait I will quickly answer your question, line by line.

Instead of labelling the Muslim protesters as extremists, shouldn't we try to address their genuine concerns? - 50,000 leaflets were distributed in the Muslim community urging them to demonstrate against the troops. Approximately 20 turned up. I would say that makes them 'extremists' seeing as they seem to be at the extremes of public opinion.

They're obviously not happy with life in the UK and must find a lot of the customs and practices a bit alien to them. - Leave then. No one's keeping anyone in Britain against their will. If you don't like it here, go somewhere else that is more in tune with your world view.

Islam is a peaceful and gentle religion and should be welcomed as another addition to the cultural mix. - This is simply untrue. Islam is neither gentle nor peaceful. Islam is rotten to the core because it's founder, Mohammed, was rotten to the core. Is sex with 9 year old girls is okay? In Islam it is because Mohammed did just that. Beating women for no particular reason? Fine and dandy. Killing people because they choose to not to believe in Allah? Totally reasonable and spiritually rewarded in Islam. The list of abhorrent practices in Islam goes on and on and on.

I'm not surprised that they are upset at a Christian army killing their brothers - The British army is not a Christian army. It is made up of a group of individuals who all hold different beliefs. Some will be Christians. Some will be be agnostics. Some atheists. Some will be Muslims. Some will be.... etc, etc.

Live and let live. - If these particular Muslims believed in that sentiment, this situation would never have occurred.
