I suppose, as its a Girls school, they have a point, but I suspect its more to do with their religion than that, plus, they are only youngsters, so no harm is being done.

Why can't they take their girls out of the class? Afterall the mixed dance class had been allowed for ages with no complaints until now. Its not fair that the teacher and kids have to look for somewhere else to dance because of a minority!!

Anyone read right to the end of the article: Last year the school scrapped halal food from the menu after complaints from outraged parents.

So they stopped</> serving food to cater for Muslims - seems that the scholl doesn't exactly have a history of kowtowing.

Does anyone have a 11 - 13 year old daughter. Would you be happy if they were in a mixed rugby team pleaying a physical sport with boys?

This gym club has children up to the age of 21 years old. Would you be happy for your 13 year old daughter to go to a gym club if there were 20 year old boys there?

Just a thought - but I suppose it is easier to blame Muslims for this isn't it

Gymnastics are not comparable to Rugby Jake. Get real. Although a group are referred to as a Gymnastics "team" the events are mostly individual. This is just the sort of thing to expect more of in slide to become Britainistan.

"They are protective of their female children" - of course they are, as demonstrated by he prophet himself, from 9 years old they are fair game for their fathers.

R1 (Vic here not Jake btw) Gymnastics are often practised in groups and in a group of female participants, you will often get a male person by things like a horse box to help them over.

Are you happy if this is a 16 year old boy, helping your 13 year old daughter?
