No Nativity play because of Muslims

Why could the school not have chosen an all white cast for the Nativity play, or would they then been accused of racism?

But then perhaps in this school it is the white children that are the minority, therefore there would not have been enough children to make up the cast.

No I wasn't there, but I have read reliable accounts of it, in the same way that I have read reliable accounts of Caesar's invasion of Britain.

If the school just picked white children as the characters then I can see where they're coming from but all in all people don't want to talk about religion because it's such a sticky subject. I'm personally all for ethically diverse things but I don't think neither race should be considered 'unequal' including white people.

Well actually they couldn't have been Muslims because the Muslim faith Islam was not founded until some 600 years after the death of Jesus. Mohammed, upon whom the faith is based was not born until 570 AD. Christianity is an older religion than Islam but Judaism is older still.

They (who?) are no longer immigrants, but second and third generation Brits. The question is "What is British?"

It is no longer in order think of Nelson, Victoria, Henry VIII, etc, because all British History has to be recast to fit in with British Asian thinking (or Congolese, or whatever).

"British" has been redefined.

I just say, if you are White, be very scared for your descendants.
