I dont have a cat
almost as much as when they claw up your legs and back to get on your shoulder
My cat doesn't jump on me at all.
She does however, sit on my head while I am sleeping and purrs directly in my ear at the same time :-) Obviously it wakes me up so this is how I know.....
My cat is far too ladylike to do anything so rough lol
When my boy cat was about 6 months old I was standing at the sink washing up when all of a sudden I screamed and hit the ceiling as he sunk his claws into my backside in an attempt to climb up me.
I use to hate when our cat at mums used to sit on my lap and when you'd try move her she'd dig her claws in
Blimey, was it a tiger??? :-)
Oh Yes indeed it does! My cat did this to me only once and that was because I was ignoring him.

thanks for all your replies.I have two 5 month old kittens.......and I am getting scratched to bits!
Question Author
Hiya Funny,
No........but felt like it!
Christine, at 5 months their claws are still quite soft. You wait until they are still doing it at 2 1/2 years, then you will understand the meaning of pain!!! lol

But aren't they sweet at that age?!
i only have one left now and she is to old and fat to jump up but i still get scratched
Question Author
Hi Barmaid,
Ive got that to look forward too then.........yes they are so sweet.......now are curled up together fast asleep!
I would love to see a pic of that! Bless!
well it hurts when me bunny thumper foots on me tummy esp when ive just eaten.
well till the bu&&er bites and scratches you at the same time, murph did this to me last night and it fooking hurt!
I'd boot the bl00dy thing up the ass and hurt it a lot more than it hurt me. :-(

Sorry you catlovers - but I really am not a cat lover or even liker myself, it would completely freak me out if one jumped on my back
you'd love mine sal, she's taken to sleeping on the pillow above my head when the BF stay over and the other monring she woke me by stretching out an dhooking her lcaws into my notrils and hanking, i have a fetching sctach on my nose and it really hurt!
well, there has been the odd one I've sort-of taken to; any with a bit of character, and I was very grateful for the loan of my friend's black cat Zorro when I lived on the farm & we got invested with mice in the attic & behind the skirtings (our Lab Bruno was scared of them - so I was grateful for Zorro then).

It just that they spook me out a bit - I always think they can see right into your mind..... !
Oh yes, HC still hasn't cottoned on that his I love you mummy pawsies is ruddy painful!!!
