Just bought a cb radio for me car , aint I cool and retro?
Do the anti mobile phone laws extend to CB radio handsets?
I dont want no problems from them smokeys.

You could always get done for using a CB mic when driving even before the mobile phone law, it's called not being in full control.

I got a slap on the wrist a couple of times for doing just that "back in the day" (glad they didn't spot the 1kw "boots" under the dashboard, or the fact it was a highly modified am/fm/sideband radio:))

Does anyone really still use CB radio... I've often thought about getting an old rig out of my parents loft and seeing if anyone is still on it!

Lots of truckers use them still and I still see those huge aerials in gardens.

But yes, you can be done for driving without due care, but cb radio is not in itself illegal
