is this true? I caught the headline on the daily mail's website. Has anyone heard it from a more, um, reputable source?

I didn't believe it, that was the point. Sigh....

Anyway, I was just really surprised that he'd be coming back to the UK - surely the threat of torch-weilding villagers and the tabloid press would be enough to keep him well away. But I think it said that he has to be deported back to his home country, so maybe he has no choice.

I wonder how long he will stay, I'd always thought his plan was to move to another Asian country.
i did read that he wants to come back to the uk for medical treatment!!!
Well I for one are most gadd that he is coming back and I welcome him back with open arms.

I believe he was innocent and was just set up.

No idea how they will gauge the level of risk he will represent. 'They' had better at least know where he is, who he is contacting and take appropriate actions to stop any action given any risk status whatsoever.
