For the second running a Starling has flown into my patio doors, yesterdays little fellow was dead as soon as he hit the floor but todays chap is still alive and standing almost coma-like

I`ve put him in a quiet shaded area out of any cats sight, is there anything else I can do to help it?

I`m off out now so hopefully it is just stunned and will fly off before any cats get it

oops, second day running
Hope you closed the blinds on patio doors before you went out to stop birds flying into them
It sounds like your patio doors are reflecting the sun which make the birds fly into it. Could you shade the glass with curtains or such? Will save you having to pick up dead and stunned birds
i wish i had stunning birds on my patio
