Security programmes

I`m still tryin to download AV 8.0 and still appear to have another security programme working and AV wont download until I uninstall it. The problem is...I don`t know which it is. I`ve gone through `All Programmes` and `Add/Remove` and found `Radial Security Services` and `Scansoft Omnipage SE 2.0` but don`t know if I should uninstall these or not, please help, I`m going ga`ga`s.

If you are on windows XP or Vista open the Security Center (it is in the Control Center).

This lists all the security products you have installed.

Click the little arrows to expand each area (firewall, anti virus etc) and it tells you what (if any) security software is running.

At the bottom there is an area "Manage security settings" which also gives more information.

shy ... I don't follow very much of this ....why you can't download it .... what's the message? ... and what exact wording (in the warning window ... also what does it say top left?)
I could understand not install it ...
but download ... no

no google on radial ss - ???

(omnipage is your document/photo scanner lol ... not a virus scanner)

Did you happen to have Prevx at one time? If so it's still the culprit. Google 'uninstall prevx' for details

No stefos, never heard of it. AC & veryhelpful: I have contacted Trial Pay via their helpline and asked if they can help me, I`ll keep you informed. I can type and read but that`s as far as it goes. I tell you,Paul O`Grady knows more about PC`s than me and he knows F`all
