How embarrassing

Ok did something utterly stupid again yesterday (no suprises there) At lunch I went to go to shop but couldnt as didnt have my purse on me so went home to get it. After work went to shop again, picked up loads of stuff, got to counter and then realised I didnt even get my purse earlier so kind of looked at bloke and said 'ooh hang on I've forgot something' picked up basket and ran off, then had to go round shop putting everything back on shelves.

That happened to me in the supermarket last week.

Unfortunately I had a trolley full of shopping..and fortunately the kind checkout lady told me not to worry about putting all the stuff back on the shelves!

I slinked away embarrassed, as there was a huge queue behind me.

I was searching for any change I could find in the bottom of my bag unfortunately 5p didnt cover it. I always seem to get to car parks and then realise I dont have any change either

I've had this happen too, shopping trolley brimming and a queue of people. I just explained the situation and said I would return with my wallet - they packed the trolley of food and kept in the chiller room for me to collect later

I just explained and said I would go home and come back in ten mins and they had the reg anyway

I did that once a couple of years ago at ASDA and they just put my shopping aside and let me go home and come back to pay for it . :-0 xx

I was to embarrassed to say anything though, was easier too put it all back. My blokes mum is supervisor in there so really didnt want them getting her

Now everyone else is admitting it I will hold my hands up and say that it happens to me quite often.

Sometimes I do have my purse..only I find that Mr P has nicked my card in the morning to get petrol money and didn't put it back!

I left all the kids clothes behind the last time we went on holiday.

Luckily they spent most of their time wearing swimsuits ~ and the local shop had some great shorts.

On a Friday I work via remote access from another office, and to gain access to the network I have a special fob with a 6 digit number on it that changes every 30seconds so you can only log on if you have the correct fob number. You follow?

Wel I got to the office on Friday and realised I didn't have the fob but had left it in my drawer at my main office, so had to get a bus (half hour) there, up 4 flights of stairs to get the fob, I then ran back down the stairs (we don't have a lift) and hopped back on the bus, only to realise when I was halfway back to the other office that I had left the fob on my desk again like a right pleb. Cue another bus trip bac into town to pick up my fob. I eventually started work at around 11am, instead of 7:15 when I got into the office.
