My no stretch of the imagination could anyone fail to see that the tiny girl in the photo was NOT Maddie - much fuller in the face for one thing. It's apparently not strange to see blonde haired children in Morocco but holidaymakers might think so. I think we all "see" Maddie whenever we are out - loads of lovely little girls dressed in pink who look just like her!

I am upset that this photo has been around for so long and only released now, it is as if Team Mc Cann hold stuff back from the papers so they can release it when the Mc Cann story goes quiet.

It is uncanny that within days of silence something is released or they make some form of 'statement'. I know they are doing it because they feel keeping Maddie in the papers will keep the search 'alive' but planning it all out like a stratigic tactical pursuit comes across very unnatural and as if they enjoy the lime light.

The whole story about Gerry's wallet being stolen in london with photos of Maddie inside, of which they hadn't got copies just sounded so fake. The story came out when there was a lull in the news coverage. They had limited photo's of Maddie when she went missing and had to ask family at home for photos they could use in the search for her, so why were there unused photos in his wallet, which he hadn't got copied to help in the search????

gromit mentions who was passed the picture but timescale is not mentioned, we are not to know how long the Mc Canns had the photo.

Also the Mc Cann's have been told by their legal team to 'not comment' on sighting and photo's for obvious reasons. To protect their clients 'the Mc Canns - if they jumped all the time when a new sighting came out it would be like 'look someone did take her there she is' and therefore make it look like they are constantly trying to prove aduction without evidence. Like shouting 'they've taken her' when the parents found Maddie missing, it just looks bad on their part, and makes it look like they are pushing the blame away from themselves.

She said she decided to hand the photo to police on Monday after reading of other recent possible sightings."

So the person who took the picture only handed it to the police on MONDAY. It hit the papers WEDNESDAY.

The McCanns never had the photo.

i think that when maddies mum went to check on her and found her missing that she was already dead and that the apartment had already been made to look like it was broken into..the father had apparantly been checking the room at intervals during the meal!!! he comes back to the table and said all is ok with the kids and everyone belives him...whats to say maddie was even there and not dead already!!!!
