Whereabouts are you staying?
Maspalomas lol

I would suggest popping into Las palmas, not to touristy and the city centre has some nice bars and restaurants and be careful of the naked germans in the sand dunes lol
one of the most touristy bits!!!... We went up the mountain & had lunch & Mr Roach got a cockroach in his olives ...not into canibalism us.
Some nice restaurants in Melonares area.
There alsways has to be a smartar5e.

I lived there for 6 months and in my experience tourists were few and far between in Las palmas

Thanks Rev,

I have heard about the naked people on the dunes, i really looking forward to tastin the food before being sucked in to the usual clubs an stuff, I heard that you can have a camel ride dont know if this is true?

Anyway off to brush up on me spanish, cheers
Hire a car and travel up into the mountains, Telde, Galdar and Firgas are all pretty villages.

The travelling market does come to Maspalomas but its pretty much tat.

Sunset by the lighthouse at Maspalomas is pretty to watch.

Palmitos park is also lovely (it has recently had some damage with the forest fires but lots still intact)

Also consider Puerto Mogan for the day - market day is manic but the rest of the times its pretty and chilled out.
